Sources

Every official page this site tracks, its current monitoring state, and the tutorials that depend on it.

How monitoring works

A scheduled job fetches each source, normalises whitespace and line endings, and compares a SHA-256 checksum against the last successful snapshot. A network failure never overwrites the last good snapshot.

What the states mean

Current
As of the last successful verification, the source was byte-identical to the previous snapshot.
Changed
The source was fetched successfully and its content changed. A diff is ready for review.
Review required
Something needs a person: an unmapped source, a structural change, or a fact that cannot be verified automatically.
Outdated
The source has failed verification for longer than the configured threshold.

This check

Verified
The most recent attempt fetched and read the source.
Check failed
The most recent attempt could not reach the source. The content above is what the last successful verification found — it was not re-checked just now.
Check needs review
The most recent attempt failed in a way that needs a person: the page may have moved, or it returned something we cannot read.
Not checked
This source has never been checked. Nothing has gone wrong — there is simply no observation yet.
